International Appeal at National Broodmare Sale

The catalogue for Australia’s number one breeding stock sale has been enhanced further with three outstanding prospects with global appeal added to June’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

The three exciting mares to be offered for sale on the Gold Coast have all been covered by superstar international stallions.

Admire Moon mare Vamoose, a lightly raced half sister to Caulfield Cup winner Admire Rakti, will be presented by Swettenham Stud after being covered for the first time in September by record breaker Lord Kanaloa – a Shadai Stallion Station based sire of the highest calibre.

Lord Kanaloa retired with earnings of over A$10 million after a spectacular racing career with 13 wins from 19 starts including six at Group One level. He was crowned Horse of the Year in Japan in 2013 and Champion Sprinter/Miler in Japan in both 2012 and 2013. In 2013 Lord Kanaloa was rated equal with Black Caviar on international ratings.

Two unique prospects forming part of a stellar draft from Newgate Farm will go under the hammer after being covered by America’s hottest sire, the champion Tapit.

The mares, Morning Fix and Exclusive Love, are both group performed multiple winners with impressive international pedigrees.

Tapit is the current standout sire of North America. He was crowned the American champion on earnings in 2014 and 2015 and is again leading in 2016 with star progeny including Tonalist, Untapable, Stardom Bound, Frosted, Constitution and Ring Weekend.
