2013 SANCTUARY COVE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is an annual four-day event which attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Australia and around the globe.

The show is staged at Sanctuary Cove on Queensland’s Gold Coast – at the centre of Australia's leisure boat building industry.

 The 2013 show marks the 25th annual event! On display each year are hundreds of boating products and services – on the marina, in the pavilions and through The Marine Village.

On show is a large range of power, sail, multihulls, superyachts, trailerable boats for fishing and family fun, ski boats, tenders, jet skis, inflatables and tinnies as well as diesel engines of all sizes, outboards, electronics, chandlery, boat building materials, charter services, finance and insurance.

The location for the exhibition site is The Marine Village, which is home to a 330 berth marina within the heart of Australia’s most prestigious residential community.

The Marine Village also offers shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and essential services as well as the 5-star InterContinental Sanctuary Cove. Since its inception in 1989 the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has developed a reputation around the world as a 'must attend' event on the Asia–Pacific boat show calendar.

Welcome to Cooly Rocks on 2013, the biggest 50s and 60s nostalgia festival in Australia! Over 2 kilometres of Rock 'n roll, Rockabilly, Swing and over 1,000 hot rods, custom cars and classic cars lining the stunning beachfront of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads.

Browse through 100 retro market stalls and 100 craft market stalls, take your taste buds back to the 50s and 60s with vintage styled food and join in the atmosphere that draws over 70,000 people back year after year.

Music fills the venues, more retro cars roll up each day and the festival builds and builds, culminating in a Grand Finale weekend where the streets are closed down, the outdoor stages are moved in and the streets are alive with street parades, shows, displays and over 1,000 cars parading from Kirra to Tweed Heads each evening.
