John Schreck is well known to the racing industry, most recently he was appointed as consultant to the integrity department of Racing Queensland, as part of its ongoing commitment to ensure the highest standards of integrity in thoroughbred racing.
John has previously worked in the capacity of deputy chairman of stewards of the Victorian Racing Club, chief stipendiary steward of New South Wales, director of racing for the Macau Jockey Club and, for more than three years, as the chief stipendiary steward of the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
John is an entertaining and sought after guest speaker and we are privileged to welcome him to Rockhampton for this 2011 Calcutta Dinner.
