A quality field will clash in the RM1 million Malaysia Magic Millions Classic (1200m) in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

The locals led by locals Royal Lawyer, Hot Butterfly, Eastern Baby and You Never Know will be out to repel the challenge from Singapore visitor Alacarte. 

Adding further interest to the race will be the presence of Aussie jockeys Noel Callow and Daniel Moor.

The Malaysia Magic Millions Classic (1200m) is one of nine races to be run on the Selangor course on one of the Penang Turf Club's biggest racedays.

Another feature being contested is the RM750,000 Yangi Di Pertua Negeri Gold Cup (2200m).

Alacarte's stablemate Risky Business is in Malaysia and chasing another feature win after his recent success with Glen Boss aboard in the Singapore Gold Cup. This time Noel Callow is in the saddle.

Magic Millions International Director David Chester will be on track to witness the race and present the winning connections with their trophies.

"The officials are delighted with the quality of the field and all of Malaysia's leading trainers are represented and Steven Burridge is popping over from Singapore with one of the main chances," Chester reported

"It's a big weekend of races - the Penang Turf Club also race on Christmas Day with a strong, quality meeting."
