Magic Millions advise that the draft from Rothwell Park catalogued for the upcoming Gold Coast Yearling Sale has been withdrawn.

The seven horse draft has been withdrawn on veterinary advice.

“Unfortunately our yearlings have contracted a respiratory infection,” Rothwell’s Scott and Cathy Irwin said. “We have treated the draft and the horses have responded well.”

“The horses have since shown no signs of ill health but we have been informed by two vets that there is a small chance the horses could be classed as carriers of this infection for the next 21 days, so we believe it is only fair to all of the other vendors and the sales company itself to leave them at home and re offer them at a later sale.”

The 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale will commence on January 7.
