Saturday 16 January 2027 will see $12.6m in prizemoney and bonuses over a ten race program on offer for Magic Millions Race Series nominated graduates of the Magic Millions Sales!
This is the feature racemeeting of the Queensland Summer Racing Carnival and includes $750,000 annually in Racing Women’s Bonuses plus the renowned $3m features – $3m TAB Magic Millions 2YO Classic, $3m Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas as well as the $1.5m Magic Millions Cup.
The final two meetings of the Summer Carnival provide an incredible $18.8 million in prizemoney and bonuses across two feature 10-race programs conducted at the Gold Coast. The Magic Millions Gold twilight meeting on Saturday 9 January 2027 will be worth $6.2m and includes the $1m Racing Queensland Magic Millions QTIS Open, $1m Magic Millions The Syndicate, $500,000 TAB Magic Millions The Wave, plus the 3rd running of the feature; $2.5m TAB Magic Millions Sunlight (slot race for 3YOs), which has recently been awarded Listed black type status. The 2027 Magic Millions Gold Twilight Racemeeting (9 January 2027) and the 2027 TAB Magic Millions Raceday (16 January 2027) programs are published by Racing Queensland, including handicap and ballot conditions and wildcard race information and eligibility. We encourage all participants to view the entire Queensland Summer Carnival program published in RACE magazine by Racing Queensland.

There are five wildcard opportunities on offer over the Queensland Summer Carnival for eligible horses to win a ballot exemption, if successful:
MM Snippets – wildcard race: Falvelon at Eagle Farm 26/12/26
MM Cup – wildcard race: Buffering at Eagle Farm 2/1/27
MM Subzero – wildcard race: Shoot Out at Eagle Farm 2/1/27
MM F&M – wildcard race: Nudgee at Eagle Farm 2/1/27
MM QTIS – wildcard race: BM85 Hcp 1200m at Eagle Farm 19/12/26

Please note Stewards will require all horses accepted for the 2YO Classic or 3YO Guineas to be stabled within a 200km radius of the Gold Coast racetrack by 12 noon on the day prior to the race.
There are acceptance fees on all races which are netted off prizemoney payments to the owner/s (applicable to final acceptors who gain a start only).
Prizemoney is paid down to last position in all races (which is sufficient to cover the acceptance fee so there is no short-fall).
The cost of late entries (all races) is $1,100 (inc GST) per late entry, invoiced to trainers by Racing Queensland.
Barrier Draws open to the public for the 2YO Classic & 3YO Guineas will take place at the Surfers Paradise Foreshore (opposite Trickett Street) from 8am on Tuesday 12 January 2027.
