Nominations are now open for the inaugural 2024 Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards. Entry deadline: Midnight (AEST) on Friday 8 December 2023.
The Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards will recognise the outstanding national success and achievements by women in the thoroughbred industry, in the following two foundation categories:
2024 Racing Women Hall of Fame
Award recognises outstanding long-term (greater than 20 years) contribution to the Australian thoroughbred industry.
The winner will have the honour of being invited to be a permanent member of the Judging Panel from 2025.
2024 National Racing Woman of the Year
Award recognises exceptional industry contribution on a national level over the last twelve months.
The winner will receive a $50,000 Racing Women scholarship from TAB to benefit their endeavours in the thoroughbred industry.
Note: the finalists for this Award will be asked by the Judging Panel to make a submission on how they will use the $50,000 scholarship from TAB to benefit the thoroughbred industry if successful.
The winners of the two foundation categories will be announced at an invitation only Achievement Awards celebratory dinner on Saturday 6 January 2024 at the Gold Coast. Up to three finalists in each category will be announced during December.
