Magic Millions Adelaide Raceday

The Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic is one of the feature races programmed annually on the Adelaide Cup Racemeeting.

Carrying prizemoney of $200,000, it is the richest juvenile race in South Australia.  Past winners of the esteemed race include Toorak Toff, Augusta Proud, Oratorio, Ferocity and Deiheros.  The Patrick Payne trained Atalanta Miss, the winner of the 2015 Magic Millions 2YO Classic won the race after competing in Magic Millions races held in Ballarat and Tasmania, with her owners enjoying the ride of travelling to watch her in each state.

The 2016 winner, She’s Positive trained by Tony Noonan, won the race after finishing third in the Ballarat Clockwise Classic at her first start and became the first winner for her sire Sepoy.

In 2017 Robbie Griffiths’ exciting filly Undoubtable Miss was victorious and looks to be a serious Spring Carnival contender.

The programming of the race coincides with the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale which commences the following day after the Adelaide Cup racemeeting.

The winning trainer of the Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic receives a $10,000 sales credit voucher to spend at the corresponding year’s Adelaide Yearling Sale.
