Superb Quality in Magic Millions Digital Sale – Bidding Open

A great mix of lots from Group winners to impeccably bred unraced prospects and broodmares with foals at foot feature in the latest Magic Millions Digital Sale (2-7 Jan) with the catalogue online and bidding open.
The latest offering features 76 lots – with 50 of them being unreserved in a great boost for buyers.

Among the 32 racehorses entered are three entries from Newgate headlined by 3YO gelding Quietly Arrogant who is Group placed with five of his nine career starts being from Restricted Listed to Group One level. Also on offer are Sunlight’s unraced 3YO brother Lyon and unraced 3YO Extreme Choice colt Tellurium. Star Thoroughbreds have entered Mannerheim who has placed twice from two of his past five starts including at metro level.

A pair of entries from Arrowfield include Rematch, who has been prolific in Highway races and the Country Cups circuit, including running second in the Mudgee Cup two starts back. Other entries include Blueblood Thoroughbreds’ Group Three winner Kaizad as well as Trapeze Legend – a three time winner from just eight starts.

The opportunities will be strong in the race fillies and mares section with the 23 lots including four top prospects from Peters Investments – all of them metropolitan winners with great pedigrees including multiple black-type placed Savabeel mare Twilight Tale, a daughter of Group One winner Dreamaway.

Multiple Sydney metropolitan winner Gold Pattern is another great prospect. She is from a half sister to former superstar sprinter Hay List.

Buyers looking for a share in a proven racehorse are well catered for. Among them is the good Archibald Racing galloper Anarita (won or placed in four of her past five starts), Peter Snowden’s Lord Mayors Cup winner Touristic (Frankel), and last start winner Jimmy’s Brother from the David Vandyke stable.

Another share sure to attract plenty of attention is that in John Rambo – a Tony Gollan trained galloper who holds an entry in next week’s $1.5 million Racing Queensland Magic Millions QTIS Open at the Gold Coast.

Four unbroken lots are up for sale by sires including Farnan and Frosted, while the 11 broodmares include Headway’s daughter Helford River (in foal to Better Than Ready) and Spright’s half sister Ivy Blue (in foal to Cool Aza Beel).

Bidding is now open for the sale and will begin closing from 12pm (QLD time) on Wednesday 7 January. To view the catalogue, please click here
