Dao Dao Out Of Quarantine And Ready For Sale


Star international galloper Dao Dao has arrived at Queensland’s Fig Tree Thoroughbreds in preparation for the upcoming Magic Millions National Racehorse Sale.

A Group One performer in Australia and Hong Kong, Dao Dao is the headline lot of the sale to be held following the third session of the National Yearling Sale on June 8.

Dao Dao was released from quarantine on Monday and arriving in Australia from Hong Kong.

Fig Tree Thoroughbreds’ Murray Murdoch was delighted to report that the gelding had made the trip looking so well.

“He is a quality individual and he is really looking the goods,” Murdoch commented.

“He’s available for viewing at the property until he heads to the Magic Millions complex on June 6.”

Dao DaoA winner of over $1 million, Dao Dao is the most accomplished international racetrack performer to be offered in Australia this year.

At his most recent run in Australia, Dao Dao finished second in the Group One George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill.

Earlier in the year he chased home champion mare Typhoon Tracy when second in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield.

The son of Shinko Forest has seven wins and eight minor placings on his record from just 19 starts. He is a winner at 1400 and 1600 metres.
