Magic Millions graduates raced with great success internationally over the weekend.

The winning run in feature races in South Africa of recent months continued on Saturday night with yet another stakes double – both purchased by one of the region’s leading judge.

Readytogorightnow (More Than Ready-Storm Fronts) added a second stakes win to his impressive race record when he cruised to victory in the Group Three Winter Classic at Kenilworth.

With Glen Hatt in the saddle, the well bred three-year-old cruised to victory, a length and a quarter ahead of his rivals.

From just 11 starts, Readytogorightnow has notched four wins and also been a minor placegetter on three other occasions.

His dam Storm Fronts, an unraced daughter of Hurricane Sky, is a half sister to Miss Minden – the stakes winning dam of stakes gallopers Miss Danehill, Pentastic and Point Made – and the dam of group winning sire Primus.

Prepared by Justin Snaith, Readytogorightnow was purchased by leading Sydney based bloodstock agent James Bester for $85,000 at the 2011 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale from the Yarraman Park Stud draft.

The win was also celebrated by the Wentwood Grange team from New Zealand who bought his dam Storm Fronts for $50,000 at the corresponding 2011 National Broodmare Sale.

Exciting juvenile filly Mohave Princess extended her unbeaten run to two when she won Saturday night’s Devon Air Stakes at Clairwood.

The first Australian bred stakes winner for Rock of Gibraltar’s son Mount Nelson, Mohave Princess is prepared by Gavin Van Zyl and was ridden to her length and a half win by Brandon Lerena.

Mohave Princess was purchased for $18,000, also by James Bester, at the 2011 Magic Millions National Weanling Sale from the draft of Glastonbury Farms.

She is one of two winners from two named foals for the Melbourne winning Fusaichi Pegasus mare Our Mohave – a daughter of Sydney stakes winner Mohave Dancer.

That makes Our Mohave a half sister to three stakes performers including $1.25 million earner and sire Natural Blitz.

Both Readytogorightnow and Mohave Princess are part owned by well known South African businessman Hassen Adams.

Meanwhile, in Macau last year’s Magic Millions National Yearling Sale top selling filly made the best possible start to her racing career with a strong win.

Yu Long Bao Ma, a $160,000 purchase for Nicholas and James Moore Bloodstock from the Tyreel Stud draft, debuted for the Peter Leyshan stable and won brilliantly.

Raced by Ma Ching, Yu Long Bao Ma is by outstanding Darley sire Lonhro and from the beautifully related mare Paris Tryst.

An unraced daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus, Paris Tryst is a daughter of Caulfield, Melbourne and Australian Cup winner and Horse of the Year Let’s Elope and is thus a half sister to three stakes performers including group winning sire Ustinov.
