TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions January Carnival Announces KIDS Foundation & Tour D’Horse as Charitable Partner for 2026

TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions January Carnival Announces KIDS Foundation & Tour D’Horse as Charitable Partner for 2026

Magic Millions is proud to announce the KIDS Foundation as its official Charitable Partner for 2026, strengthening a philanthropic relationship that delivers meaningful and lasting outcomes for children and families across Australia – with the horse at the heart of it.
The KIDS Foundation (Kids in Dangerous Situations) supports children who have experienced trauma or injury, focusing on empowerment, education, and building strong, resilient lives.

The announcement follows the extraordinary success of the KIDS Foundation’s major fundraiser 2025 Tour d’Horse, which in its second year raised a remarkable $1.17 million with support from the racing industry, including Magic Millions, and the wider community. These funds allow the KIDS Foundation to support over 300,000 children nationwide through their trauma recovery and education programs.

Magic Millions Co‑Owner Katie Page‑Harvey said the partnership demonstrates the strength of the horse industry as a community and the power of the horse to heal.

“Last year’s Tour d’Horse showed the incredible impact our industry can have when we come together,” Page‑Harvey said.

“Naming the KIDS Foundation as the Magic Millions Charitable Partner for 2026 allows us to continue building on that impact. This partnership is about more than fundraising — it’s about connection, community, and recognising the unique role horses, especially off-the-track thoroughbreds, play in supporting children and families who have been through unimaginable trauma.”

KIDS Foundation Founder and CEO Dr Susie O’Neill OAM highlighted the critical role Magic Millions plays in the charity’s work and the significance of the horse.“We are honoured and incredibly grateful to be Magic Millions’ Charitable Partner for 2026,” Dr O’Neill said.

“Magic Millions has been a game-changer for the KIDS Foundation. Tour d’Horse alone accounts for about half of our annual budget, with over $250,000 directly or indirectly raised through our partnership with Magic Millions. Their support is life-changing and helps us reach hundreds of thousands of children and families each year.”

Off-the-track thoroughbreds play a central role at the KIDS Foundation, bringing programs and events to life while connecting children, families, and the racing community in meaningful ways.

A key example is Eleven Eleven, one of Magic Millions’ most celebrated equine heroes, who was gifted to the KIDS Foundation following his racing career. In his role as a KIDS Foundation Equine Ambassador, Eleven Eleven demonstrates the positive impact thoroughbreds can have, inspiring hope and empowering children and families. He also plays a pivotal role in Tour d’Horse, embodying courage, determination, and the strength that comes from community support.

A son of Fastnet Rock, Eleven Eleven captured the hearts of the racing community with back-to-back Magic Millions Cup victories and success in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas. He represents the healing power of the human-horse connection and helps the KIDS Foundation in its mission of building strong, resilient lives. Through his role in the charity, Eleven Eleven continues to inspire and engage the community.“

Off-the-track thoroughbreds, like Eleven Eleven, are not only icons of racing excellence, they are ambassadors for hope and empowerment, bringing the KIDS Foundation’s mission to life in a way words alone cannot. We simply could not do this without them,” Dr O’Neill added.

Eleven Eleven will return to the 2026 TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival, participating in marquee events including the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping, the TAB Magic Millions Barrier Draw, and TAB Magic Millions Raceday, providing memorable experiences for attendees and raising awareness for the charitable cause. As part of the partnership, Magic Millions will field a team at Tour d’Horse 2026 in May during the Scone Horse Festival. This will be Magic Millions inaugural year as partner of Scone Race Club. Eleven Eleven and Magic Millions Sales and Off-The-Track Ambassador Ally Mosley will cover nearly 200 kilometres over six days through the Upper Hunter, continuing a proud tradition of community engagement, philanthropy, and equine impact.

The continued collaboration reflects Magic Millions’ commitment to meaningful community impact, leveraging its platform to support organisations making a genuine difference beyond the sales ring and the racetrack.

For anyone attending the TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival, you can support the partnership by purchasing tickets from KIDS Foundation volunteers for the 50:50 competition from the Magic Millions sales complex on Monday, 12 January onwards. Every ticket gives you a chance to win $10,000, or you can donate directly to the charity.
