A catalogue featuring significant quality has been compiled for the Magic Millions Digital (17-22 July) Sale, including racehorses, racefillies, shares, weanlings, yearlings and broodmares with the highlight being stakes-placed mare Kimberley Rose. 

Offered as a breeding prospect, Kimberley Rose (Lot 41) is a four-year-old mare by Hellbent out of Amber’s Waltz, who was Group placed and runner-up in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic during her racing career.

A city winner and Listed placed in the Belmont Oaks, Kimberley Rose was purchased for $200,000 as a yearling by her trainer Stephen (SJ) Miller. She offers breeders the opportunity to secure a well-credentialed mare ahead of the upcoming breeding season.

Feature lots in the Racehorses category include Warrior Smile (Lot 1), a three-year-old gelding who has only had nine starts to date and placed at Flemington as a two-year-old. Corpulent (Lot 3), a three-year-old gelding who broke his maiden two starts ago at Kembla Grange on June 20, also provides the opportunity to purchase a racehorse with strong recent form.

In the Racefillies category, Fine Wine (Lot 11) is offered unreserved and should be inspected. This three-year-old daughter of Snitzel has recorded two provincial wins in NSW to date. Sky Blue (Lot 15) is also an interesting unreserved proposition as she is a half-sister to last Saturday’s two-year-old stakeswinner Actionbelle, who won the Castletown Stakes in New Zealand in dominant fashion.

There is plenty of depth in the Racehorse Shares category with two 10% shares (Lots 18 and 19) in stakes-winning and G1 VRC Oaks placed mare Basilinna (NZ) up for grabs. A 5% share in multiple Group 1 placed filly Within The Law (Lot 53) will also be offered along with a 2.5% share in Cristal Clear (Lot 21), whose upcoming Spring Campaign targets include the Group 1 Epsom Handicap as well as The Big Dance on Melbourne Cup Day.

Bhima Thoroughbreds offer six broodmares, three in-foal, on behalf of a client who is reducing numbers. Highlights amongst this draft include Super Oasis (Lot 50), a daughter of Exceed and Excel in-foal to exciting stallion City of Troy (USA) as well as Gagumaru (Lot 38), who is offered in-foal to the immortal So You Think on a September cover.
