Online Bidding Registration Open For Perth Sale

Buyers unable to make it to Belmont for next week’s Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale will be able to bid online for the first time.

Prospective buyers may now register at www.magicmillions.com.au> to bid for lots at the state’s premier thoroughbred event.

Online bidders will hear all audio in real-time, will see current bidding prices in real-time and be able to offer bids on all offered lots, simultaneously with the live auction crowd.

Magic Millions auctioneers will be notified of all active bids being offered online throughout the event.

“We urge potential online bidders to register a few working days in advance and to download the relevant software in preparation for the Perth Sale,” Magic Millions Managing Director David Chester said.

“Those having any issues with the online bidding process will be able to call the Magic Millions Online support line.”

Those wanting to just view the auction live and not bid can do so – there is no need to register. A concurrent stand alone broadcast will be available for viewers without Internet Explorer.

All potential purchasers must be registered to bid online prior to bidding.

Buyers unable to make it to Belmont next week can view Sirecam preview footage and photos via the Magic Millions website.

The 2010 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale will kick away with Session One from 5.30pm (WA time) on Wednesday.

The sale will then run through Thursday, Friday and Sunday next week.
