| Overshadow (Lot 19) was well found with bidders from four states across Australia competing for the four-year-old mare. After a protracted bidding duel involving 41 bids, Pakenham-based Dean Williams Racing purchased him for $32,500. “This is the first horse I have bought online myself and getting involved with the platform was very straightforward.” “We’ll give him 10 days in the paddock. He’s obviously city class so if we can get a win in Melbourne that will be a great result for the new owners.” In the broodmare category Zapped (Lot 41) who was offered in-foal to exciting young Rosemont Stud-based stallion Henry Longfellow, was purchased by Fleetwood for $20,000, while Angel Sky (Lot 42), offered with a Maschino colt at foot, was purchased by Naszko Pty Ltd for $15,000.
