|A colt by leading Widden Stud sire Zoustar was amongst the youngsters to shine at today’s Seymour breeze-up session in preparation for next month’s Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale. |
Catalogued as Lot 214, the flashy chestnut colt is the second foal of an unraced half sister to Coolmore Classic winner Regal Cheer, the dam of multiple stakes winner Knoydart.
A member of a quality Nolen Racing draft, the chestnut colt clocked 10.18 seconds for the 200 metre timed breeze during a successful Victorian breeze-up session at the Seymour Racing Club.
Lot 56, the El Roca-Mandeville colt for Moffatt Breaking & Pre Training and Lot 165, the Starspangledbanner-Vintage Class colt from Rosemont Stud, both ran 10.32 seconds.
The full brother to Black Magnum (Lot 153) from Nolen Racing clocked 10.33 seconds, while Lots 32 (Headwater-Kee De Vega colt for Moffatt Breaking & Pre Training) and 242 (No Nay Never-El Shahar colt for Nolen Racing) ran sharply in 10.35 seconds.
“Again the Seymour Racing Club has presented a fantastic surface to breeze and I must thank Penny and her team for hosting us this morning,” Magic Millions Victorian Bloodstock Consultant Tim Brown said.
“Our vendors and their staff should be congratulated for presenting their two-year-olds in such outstanding fashion.” he added.
The breeze-up action now switches north for a large line-up to step out at the Gold Coast Turf Club from 9.30am on Monday.
