Adelaide has had a long and successful history of producing great racehorses from Manikato to Mahuta and this year’s Magic Millions catalogue has more to recommend than any other in recent times.
Leading stallions Artie Schiller, Casino Prince, Choisir, Dalakhani, Exceed And Excel, Good Journey, Hard Spun, High Chaparral, Hinchinbrook, Hussonet, I Am Invincible, Lonhro, Lope De Vega, Magnus, Medaglia D’Oro, Mossman, Myboycharlie, Nicconi, Not A Single Doubt, Redoute’s Choice, Reset, Sebring, Snitzel, Stratum, Testa Rossa, Uncle Mo, and Written Tycoon are represented.
The young guns with their first crop are All Too Hard, Ambidexter, Americain, Barbados, Bullet Train, Dalakhani, Delago Deluxe, Excelebration, Golden Archer, Harbour Watch, Instinction, Mulaazem, Pierro, Rockaroundtheclock, Squamosa, and Your Song.
Combined they represent an extravaganza of exquisite equine excellence, and all on show in Adelaide.
Importantly all Adelaide Yearlings are eligible to run in the $11,340,000 Magic Millions Race Series and already a graduate of the Sale Mahuta won the $2,000,000 Gold Coast Magic Millions Guineas for Darren Weir and connections, as did Deiheros in 2015 for trainer Lloyd Kennewell when it was worth $1,000,000, and in 2008 Adelaide graduate Augusta Proud pulled off the double winning both the Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO and the Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic for Leon Macdonald.
The $10,000,000 Raceday is locked in for another six years so the opportunities that await this year’s future stars is mind boggling.
We are rightly proud of our magnificent Adelaide sales complex, designed by the forefathers of South Australia’s Thoroughbred Breeding industry in 1979, it is World Class and the hospitality bestowed on vendors and buyers alike makes it the best, easiest, and friendliest sale in Australia to attend.
All roads lead to Adelaide for the sale with the most character, charisma and sex appeal.
It’s about to burst into life.
Miss it and you will miss the real deal…..not to mention the wines, restaurants and beaches.
Good luck with your purchases. You will have the Magic Millions stamp of approval….
