Lightly Raced Good Show Tops Magic Millions Digital Sale

Lightly raced three-year-old Good Show was the top seller of the Magic Millions (13-18 March) Digital Sale which concluded today.
A gelded son of Trapeze Artist, Good Show has placed from just two starts for the Peters Investments team who offered him in this week’s sale.

Good Show is set to join the stables of talented Western Australian horseman Dylan Bairstow after his team secured him for $37,500.

The Peters Investments team was thrilled with the price and their good success with the Magic Millions Digital platform has continued following other recent strong results.

“We had a reserve of $5,000 on him hoping he would make $10,000 to $15,000,” Liam Peters noted. “The price he achieved far exceeded our expectations.”

“It’s great to see the tried horse market so strong with these online sales,” Peters added.

Peters Investments also sold their other offering, Pressurised (NZ), for $10,000.

Other admired lots in the sale included Lasqueti Boom, a half-sister to Lasqueti Spirit and was offered as a breeding prospect. She realised $17,000, while Decoy, a maiden filly offered by Yarraman Park sold for $12,000.

“Overall, the horses that sold achieved particularly strong results.” Head of Digital Bryce Bevan said.

“Buyers bid up on the horses they identified, but priced others to a level they were comfortable with.”

“Our next sale, which closes for entries next Wednesday (March 25) will be the last opportunity to sell online until mid-April due to Easter.”

Entries for the Magic Millions Digital (27 March-1 April) Sale are open and will close next Wednesday, 25 March. For more information on Magic Millions Digital or to lodge an entry click here.

“Already confirmed for the next sale are a significant number of unreserved shares that will be offered by Proven Thoroughbreds on behalf of a client,” Bevan added.
