| Magic Millions today announced that nominations are officially open for the 2026 Magic Millions Racing Women (MMRW) supported by TAB Achievement Awards, an opportunity to hero the extraordinary women whose passion, skill and dedication continue to elevate the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry across Australia. Now in year three of the MMRW supported by TAB Awards program, individuals are invited to step up and put a nomination in for those they would like to see recognised for their diverse contributions across the sport of racing and breeding. Highlighting Trainers, Jockeys, Breeders, Owners and emerging talent across all participant levels is the focus of the Awards, with the categories as follows; 2026 Racing Woman of the Year – Queensland 2026 Racing Woman of the Year – NSW & ACT 2026 Racing Woman of the Year – Victoria 2026 Racing Woman of the Year – TAS & SA 2026 Racing Woman of the Year – WA & NT Ten exceptional finalists will be selected by an all-female panel of industry heavy weights, comprising Magic Millions co-owner Katie Page, Magic Millions Racing Women Patron Zara Tindall MBE, Racing Women Hall of Fame foundation award winners Gai Waterhouse and Denise Martin along with Bernadette Cooper and Sophie Swain representing Tabcorp. A winner from each of the five state-based national categories will receive a $10,000 Racing Women scholarship from TAB. A gathering of the thoroughbred industry’s elite to announce the winners will be held on Friday 9 January 2026, the star-studded red-carpet event will kick off the two-week equine extravaganza that is the TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival. Magic Millions co-owner and founder of Magic Millions Racing Women, Katie Page-Harvey said, “We all know women who are fundamental to every facet of the Australian thoroughbred industry – from the grassroots heroes at the stables to the leaders in administration. Too often, they prefer to fly under the radar. These awards are our chance, and your chance, to make them visible and give them the recognition they truly deserve. “Equally, you can’t be what you can’t see. By nominating a woman whose significant contribution deserves acknowledgment, you are not just thanking them; you are providing a platform for their work to inspire the next generation of women and girls who want a career in this vital $9 Billion industry. “These awards are a natural extension of our world-first Magic Millions Racing Women’s Bonus. On 17 January 2026 Magic Millions will award $750,000 in prizemoney bonuses for all all-female owned horses. That initiative created the opportunity ; these awards deliver the recognition. “Please nominate the woman or women you see day-to-day who innovate and elevate our industry. We are grateful to TAB for contributing the $50,000 in scholarship award funding that will further propel the careers of the winners for 2026.” The awards will be hosted by TAB and Sky Racing presenter Ally Mosley who said the company was proud to promote and highlight the achievement of women across the racing industry. “TAB is so proud to partner with Katie and Magic Millions to promote and support these awards,’’ she said. “The contribution of women in our industry is immeasurable.
