| Hong Kong based buyer Shì shì lái ma secured the proven producer from the Eureka Stud draft for $95,000. The mare, who is a 100 per cent winner producer from three runners to date, is carrying a full relation to Sassy Boom. Sassy Boom has been a star performer for the Danny O’Brien stable and aside from her Group Two success she was also a winner of the Magic Millions Tasmanian 2YO Classic. She was also a runner-up in an Adelaide Guineas at stakes level. “We are delighted to have sold Harbour Fun on the Magic Millions April Digital Sale,” vendor David Johnson said. “The team at Magics were very helpful in assisting us with the listing and keeping us up to date with any phone calls they received regarding the mare.” “We felt the mare would stand out on the Magic Millions Digital platform and she sold accordingly,” Johnson added. “We can definitely recommend selling with Magic Millions Digital.” Sassy Boom, already a four time winner and earner of almost $500,000, will go under the hammer at May’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. Another popular offering in the auction was the Group placed Tasmanian based racemare Jaguar Stone who sold for $27,500. A former winner of the Magic Millions Tasmanian 2YO Classic for the Adam Trinder stable, Jaguar Stone will stay on the Apple Isle having been purchased by Philip Bingley. An unreserved dispersal of shares in a suite of Proven Thoroughbreds racehorses, offered on behalf of the Estate of the Late Tony Halloran, were well sought after by buyers. A 12.5 per cent share in the Matthew Hoysted trained Larado, a three time winner from five starts, realised $15,000 and was the subject of 32 bids. “Organising a dispersal sale of shares for an estate is quite an undertaking and Magic Millions could not have been more helpful with all the administration that was required,” Proven Thoroughbreds’ Tom Walter reported. “Additionally the sale of the shares met our expectations and some, so we are very satisfied with the results for our client.” “The online thoroughbred market is a competitive space now and Magic Millions is right up to speed with all the technology,” Walter added.
