MAGIC MILLIONS CELEBRATE NEW NAMING RIGHTS PARTNER &
CONFIRM THE STELLAR LINE-UP OF AMBASSADORS FOR 2026

Zara & Mike Tindall, Billy & Nicole Slater, Hamish McLachlan, Nacho Figueras & Delfina Blaquier, – all on the Gold Coast in January

Cementing an already successful partnership as the Official Wagering Partner of Magic Millions Sales nationally along with being the Official Supporting Partner of Magic Millions Racing Women, has seen TAB proudly take on naming rights sponsorship of the world’s most exciting sales and racing Carnival in 2026.

Magic Millions co-owner Katie Page-Harvey, “We are incredibly proud to announce TAB as the naming rights partner for the Gold Coast Magic Millions January Carnival, a partnership that goes far beyond a simple sponsorship; it is a shared commitment to innovation and the future of Australian thoroughbred racing. TAB has been with us since 2020, supporting our vision to take this Carnival to the world, and their increased involvement—particularly in backing our Magic Millions Racing Women Achievement Awards initiative—is a game-changer for the industry. For Gerry and for me, having a partner that understands the unique ecosystem of breeding, sales, and racing is vital, and together we are ensuring the Gold Coast remains the global gold standard for thoroughbred racing excellence.

“Equally, I am thrilled to confirm the renewals of our entire Magic Millions ambassador family: Zara and Mike Tindall, Billy and Nicole Slater, Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, and Hamish McLachlan. They are not just the faces of our brand; they are authentic horse people who live and breathe this life, and they mean the world to Gerry and to me. We couldn’t do it without them. Zara Tindall MBE, Olympic equestrienne and our Patron of Magic Millions Racing Women and Mike Tindall MBE, world champion athlete and successful horse-racehorse owner; Billy and Nicole represent the pinnacle of Australian sporting excellence and hands-on thoroughbred breeding passion; Nacho and Delfina bring the glamour and athleticism of world-class polo; and Hamish is the storyteller who binds it all together. Their collective passion elevates every aspect of the Carnival, from the beach to the sales ring.

“We simply cannot wait to welcome the world back to the Gold Coast this January to experience the magic that this team helps us create. There is an electric atmosphere here that you just don’t find anywhere else—a unique blend of elite sport, high-stakes sales, and family fun against the backdrop of our beautiful beaches. Whether you are an owner, a breeder, or a family seeing a horse up close for the first time, we are ready to host you for what promises to be our most spectacular celebration of the horse yet”.
TAB CEO Gillon McLachlan said he was excited to bring two iconic Australian brands together.

“We’re delighted to partner with Katie and Gerry to grow and promote one of our most iconicracing carnivals – the TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions.

“TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions brings people together, it celebrates both racing and the inclusion that comes with being part of the racing industry.

“At TAB we are looking forward to bringing our whole ecosystem to the carnival. We will broadcast the races to over 60 countries globally via Sky racing, paint the track green with activations and market leading offers across the TAB App and 3700 retail venues nationally.”

Magic Millions is also thrilled to confirm the renewal of long-time ambassadors, confirming their return to the Gold Coast in 2026. Beyond their extensive individual achievements, their common passion for the equine industry from racing, showjumping and polo to breeding, captures the diversity of the thirteen-day extravaganza each January on the Gold Coast. They are;

– Zara Tindall MBE (Patron of Magic Millions Racing Women) and Mike Tindall MBE (Sales & Syndication)
– Billy Slater (Sales & Syndication) & Nicole Slater
– Hamish McLachlan (Magic Millions Ambassador & Seven Network Racing Host)
– Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier (Polo)

The Carnival will be a non-stop showcase of glamour and horsepower, from the red-carpet kickoff at the Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards on Friday 9 January at the Home of The Arts Gallery, where a panel of industry heavyweights will recognise each winner of five state based awards with a $10,000 Racing Women scholarship from TAB, shining a light on the women making strides across the industry nationally.

The adrenaline then ignites, with racing under lights at the Magic Millions Gold Twilight meeting on Saturday 10 January, airing for a second year during Prime Time, broadcast on the Seven Network. This exciting feature will showcase $7.3 million in prizemoney over ten races, highlighted by the running of the $3 million TAB Magic Millions Sunlight (3YO) slot race.

Sunday 11 January – Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping will deliver a feast of finesse and fashion, starting the day with some of the country’s best Junior and Senior Showjumpers in action at The Spit, along with the Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Final.  In the afternoon, the fast-paced action of the Polo will be underway, led by Argentinian superstar Nacho Figueras. Teams will combine celebrities and top-class professional players delivering a spectacle of skill and entertainment, with colourful fashion and marquee elegance lining the sidelines.

On Tuesday 13 January, the thunder of thoroughbred hooves will hit the sands for the world-famous TAB Magic Millions Barrier Draw on the beach, this year relocating to Broadbeach from Surfers Paradise, with the iconic exhibition of horses galloping down the foreshore in front of Kurrawa Surf Club to mark the occasion. Owners and connections will then draw their all-important barrier position for the two world renowned feature races, the $3 million TAB Magic Millions 2YO Classic and $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.

The business end of the week also then kicks into gear, with the who’s who of the track scene converging on the Magic Millions Sales Complex at Bundallall vying to secure the next big name to take to the turf from the world-class Gold Coast Yearling Sale. 2026 marks an incredible 40 years since the inaugural Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale transformed the Australian racing landscape. The anniversary highlights four decades of champion graduates, global investment, and industry-shaping success stories.

The 2026 Carnival will culminate with the $13.25 million TAB Magic Millions Raceday on Saturday 17 January, featuring ten races exclusively for Magic Millions graduates at the picturesque Gold Coast Turf Club, including $750,000 in Magic Millions Racing Women’s Bonuses.

Queensland Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tim Mander said the Magic Millions showcased the very best in Queensland racing.

“The Magic Millions is an iconic Queensland event, combining the glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast with world-class thoroughbred racing,” Minister Mander said.

“Off the back of a successful 2025 carnival which generated more than $55.3 million for the state, we’re excited to now look forward to the 2026 Magic Millions which has become a truly global spectacle, with greater scale, influence, and recognition for the Gold Coast and our state.”

“This unique program of events during the Magic Millions Carnival spans sport, entertainment and commerce, as well as demonstrating strong advocacy for the increasing profile and prominence of women in the industry. “

“Magic Millions stands alone as Australia’s top race carnival with organisers committed to adding new flair to the program every year,’’ said Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate.

“The 2026 Carnival will feature twilight racing, adding to the fashion, glamour and fun which is synonymous with Magic Millions. I applaud TAB for joining the party in 2026 and wish sponsors, racegoers and fans the best over thirteen magical days.’’
